People At Work: Five Loose Frames
A set of loose, candid frames tracing different kinds of manual work — a kitchen counter, a barbershop chair, a street-level cart, and two views of a utility bucket lift high above the street.
The set opens indoors: a cook reaches across a kitchen counter stacked with lacquered trays and patterned bowls, and a barber leans in to trim a seated client's beard beside a glowing ring light.
It then steps outside and looks down, where a lone worker pushes a small cart past traffic cones beneath a tiled building facade, dwarfed by the surrounding architecture.
The set ends looking up: a worker reaches from a yellow bucket lift toward a traffic signal head, and a wider view finds two helmeted workers riding the same kind of bucket up through a dense tangle of overhead wires, apartment towers rising behind them.
