Deer Grazing Beside a Rippled River

Five elevated frames of a deer grazing in bankside grass beside a rippled river, moving from close, partly obscured views through a sun-flared frame to a wider view where the water dominates.

deer grazing / riverbank grass / rippled water / sun flare / elevated view

The sequence opens on a slope of grass above a river, where a deer stands largely hidden, only an ear and the curve of its back visible above the green. A companion frame holds nearly the same view, the deer still mostly folded into the vegetation as rippled water fills the top of the frame.

A vertical frame brings the deer's head and one ear into closer view beside a pale rock, warm side light spreading a golden haze across the grass. Another frame adds a bright, circular lens flare low in the composition, overlapping the grass below the deer.

The sequence closes by giving most of its space back to the water: a broad field of ripples fills the upper frame, and the deer becomes a small, low shape near the center of the bank, a grey rock resting nearby in the grass.

A deer stands mostly hidden in dense green grass on a riverbank, only its ear and part of its back visible.
The deer's warm brown coloring nearly matches the golden light reflecting across the grass and water. Its head is lowered as if feeding, though its muzzle is obscured by vegetation.
A deer's ear and curved back break through tall green grass on a riverbank, with rippled water filling the frame above.
The grass surrounding the deer catches soft sun flare, giving the whole bank a warm, hazy cast. Small patches of tan sediment or debris float on the water's surface nearby.
A deer's head and ear rise above grass on a sunlit slope, a pale rock resting on the ground nearby.
Warm side light spreads a golden haze across the grass and rock, with the water reduced to a narrow band along the top edge. The deer's ear appears edged in pink from the backlighting.
A large circular lens flare blooms over green grass where a deer's head, ear, and body are partly visible, sparkling water beyond.
Only a narrow strip of the deer's body, from ear to haunch, is visible beyond the bright flare, the rest lost in shadowed grass. Sparkling highlights scatter across the water at the upper left.
Rippled water spreads across the top of a grassy riverbank, where a small deer grazes near scattered rocks below.
The deer appears as a small, low shape near the center of the bank, dwarfed by the wide expanse of rippled water above. A rock breaks the grass at the lower right corner.
