Water, deck surfaces, railings, reflections, people, and distant land establish changing scales between the boat and its surroundings.

The sequence opens across water, where a two-masted vessel and several smaller boats appear beneath a cloud-filled sky with a low shoreline behind them. A spare view of open water and layered clouds follows before the perspective turns down toward two people wearing masks and snorkels beside the boat, with a distant orange-and-dark form floating farther away.
