A Foggy Night at the Marina

Seven night frames that move from a foggy shoreline and a fog-bound street through lamplit docks to moored sailboats and powerboats, closing on an elevated view of the marina in the mist.

The sequence opens at the water's edge, where a streetlight burns through fog above a rock breakwater and a moored boat sits half-hidden at the left of the frame. It then moves to a street, where a pair of headlights pushes through the murk past a silhouetted fire hydrant on brick paving.

At the docks, twin lighthouse-shaped lamps glow and double themselves in the still water below, while one frame turns almost entirely to fog, its dock and boats reduced to faint pilings and a single distant light. A long lamplit walkway then recedes between moored sailboats and shrouded powerboats.

The sequence closes on the moorings: a sailboat tied along a bulkhead beneath the lit windows of a waterside building, and a final elevated view across the slips where a sailboat lettered 'Elizabeth' glows beside the dock as the rest of the fleet fades into rows of pale lights.
