The whole set is one room, one window, one machine. A turntable sits under its clear acrylic lid on a wooden console, tonearm parked, flanked by orange-grilled speakers that have clearly earned their place. Around it the plants have staged a slow takeover — a monstera leaning in from the left, a broad-leafed neighbor arching over the platter, a trailing vine spilling from a bulbous terracotta pot on the right.

Sunlight comes through the panes at a low angle, throwing warm patches across the leaves and the terracotta and catching a blush of pink foliage outside. Shot on 35mm color negative, the frame keeps everything soft and honest: wood grain, dust cover reflections, the small clutter of records and knick-knacks on the console top. It is less a still life than a portrait of an afternoon — the kind where the stereo is off and the room still sounds full.
