A six-frame sequence that tracks the light fading over a ridge overlook, from a sunlit sky and a brief sun flare through layered mountain views to a dead tree silhouetted against the sun at dusk.

The sequence opens with a ridge in silhouette beneath a clear blue sky, followed by a brief, hard flare of sun breaking through dark cloud that backlights a roadside plant stalk.

From an overlook, layered mountain ridges recede from warmer near hills into pale blue distance under a peach-tinted horizon, then darken further into a nearly two-tone frame of black ridge and banded sky.

The final two frames turn to a dead tree at the overlook's edge, its bare, twisted branches held in silhouette first against the layered ridges and then, tilted skyward, beside a hazy, flared sun.
